Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship created “a whole new fan base” for NFL, claims Greg Olsen
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance has attracted many new fans to the NFL.
While Taylor Swift might have been trolled last season for being a distraction to the league, it’s hard to ignore that her influence has brought many new fans into the sport. NFL commentator Greg Olsen feels the same.
Olsen was recently interviewed by People, and the former NFL tight end talked about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance. He said it created a whole new NFL fan base, which includes his daughter:
“Obviously, Travis is super gracious with his time and everything, and I think it’s great. There’s a whole new fan base. I mean, I have an 11-year-old daughter, so I get it firsthand.”
“I think it’s great for everyone. I think it’s great for the game and the league and yeah, I think there was a lot of fans excited to see the guys.”
Before talking about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship, Greg Olsen detailed the success of the fourth annual Tight End University featuring the Chiefs tight end and George Kittle. Olsen noted that despite the off-field situation, both the tight ends are always focused on the game.
