Donald Trump Rages at Taylor Swift and top Liberal Donors, Accusing Them of Bankrolling a “Grotesque” Statue Showing Him Clasping Hands With Jeffrey Epstein in Front of the White House

Trump Explodes Over Alleged Liberal-Backed Statue Linking Him to Epstein Outside the White House
Washington D.C. — Former President Donald Trump has unleashed a furious tirade against Taylor Swift, Democratic donors, and what he calls “Hollywood’s liberal elite” after reports circulated online alleging that a controversial statue of him holding hands with Jeffrey Epstein is set to be installed near the White House.

The statue, which is said to be funded by a coalition of wealthy progressives and celebrity donors, has not been officially confirmed. But right-wing commentators and Trump allies quickly amplified the rumor, sparking outrage among the former president’s base.
Trump, speaking on Truth Social late Monday, blasted the alleged project as “the sickest, dirtiest political hit job in American history,” accusing Taylor Swift of “throwing her millions into lies instead of music.”
“These deranged liberals are trying to rewrite history with their fake statues. It’s disgusting. Taylor Swift should stick to her bad songs and stay out of politics. The American people see right through this fraud,” Trump wrote.
The rumored monument reportedly portrays Trump and Epstein, the disgraced financier who died in jail in 2019 while facing sex trafficking charges, walking hand-in-hand on the White House lawn. Its supposed placement “in the shadow of America’s most important building” has only intensified the backlash.
Critics on the right say the move represents a new low in political theater. Trump supporters outside the White House Tuesday morning waved banners calling it “an act of treason against the presidency.” Meanwhile, liberal activists online praised the idea as “artistic accountability,” with one viral post claiming: “If statues are for remembering history, this one remembers what Trump wants us to forget.”
Taylor Swift herself has not responded to Trump’s accusations. However, sources close to her camp dismissed the claims as “absurd disinformation,” noting that the pop star has focused her recent philanthropy on education and voter registration, not public monuments.
Political analysts say the controversy highlights the high-stakes culture war brewing ahead of the midterm elections. “The symbolism of Trump and Epstein together is radioactive,” said Dr. Marissa Klein, a political science professor at Georgetown University. “Even the rumor of a statue sends shockwaves because it taps into one of the most explosive narratives surrounding the former president.”
As of now, no official permit or planning notice has been filed with the D.C. government for such a statue, leaving questions about whether the monument actually exists or if the story is part of an elaborate political hoax.
Trump, however, has promised retribution. “If they dare put that up, I will tear it down myself. This is America, not Communist China,” he declared at a rally in Ohio on Tuesday night.
