President Donald Trump Claps Back at Kenny Loggins After $500 Million “Danger Zone” Lawsuit Over AI Video Mocking No Kings Day Protesters

Former President Donald Trump has fired back at Grammy-winning musician Kenny Loggins, after the 76-year-old singer filed a massive $500 million copyright lawsuit accusing Trump and his team of illegally using his classic 1986 hit “Danger Zone” in a viral AI-generated video that mocked anti-Trump demonstrators during the recent No Kings Day March.

The lawsuit, filed last week in a federal court in California, alleges that Trump’s campaign team or affiliated digital creators used an AI recreation of Loggins’ voice and music without permission to accompany a controversial video showing Trump dumping garbage on a crowd of protesters. The clip, which spread rapidly across social media, used “Danger Zone” as its background track — a song famously featured in the Top Gun soundtrack.

In the complaint, Loggins’ legal team described the video as a “gross misrepresentation and deliberate misuse” of his art, stating that the song’s use was intended to “mock citizens exercising their constitutional rights” and to “imply his artistic endorsement of a political figure he does not support.”

“This isn’t just about money — it’s about integrity,” Loggins said in a brief statement to reporters. “My music has meaning, and I won’t allow it to be twisted for political mockery or misinformation.”

Trump Responds: “He Should Be Thanking Me for Making Him Relevant Again”
