Carlos Baleba Arrives With Manchester United Squad Ahead of Fulham Showdown as New Signing Eyes Manchester United Debut
By PlanetStroke Staff
Manchester United’s latest signing Carlos Baleba has arrived with the squad ahead of the club’s highly anticipated Premier League showdown against Fulham, with the midfielder named among the substitutes and potentially just minutes away from making his first appearance for the Red Devils.
The former Brighton midfielder attracted plenty of attention as he arrived with the Manchester United squad before the match. His presence on the bench immediately sparked excitement among supporters eager to see their new signing in competitive action.
Baleba keeps his answer short
Ahead of the match, PlanetStroke staff member Paul caught up with Baleba as he was getting off the team bus and asked the midfielder about his expectations for the game.
Baleba responded with a smile before delivering a characteristically brief answer:
“I am a Baleba.”
The short response quickly became one of the standout moments surrounding his arrival.
Rather than offering a lengthy prediction or discussing his potential debut, Baleba appeared relaxed as he made his way into the stadium with his new teammates.
United fans wait for his moment
Baleba’s inclusion on the bench means manager Ruben Amorim has the option of introducing him during the Fulham clash.
For the midfielder, it represents another significant step following his move from Brighton to Manchester United.
The anticipation surrounding his debut has been building since his arrival, with supporters keen to see how his physical presence, energy and midfield ability translate to the highest level at Old Trafford.
Now, with Baleba sitting among the substitutes, the question is no longer whether he will eventually wear the Manchester United shirt in a competitive match.
It is whether this will be the day he finally gets his first opportunity.
And after his brief exchange with PlanetStroke, one thing is clear: Carlos Baleba looked ready for the occasion.
