Taylor Swift fought back tears after being overwhelmed by fans’ cheers at her last Liverpool show on Saturday, after her ex-boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn finally broke his silence on their split.
While singing Champagne Problems to a sold-out crowd, Taylor began looking visibly emotional, overwhelmed by her audience’s response.
She removed her ear piece and so she could fully appreciate the moment before shouting: ‘I love you so much, Liverpool, thank you!’
Taylor, who marked her 100th performance of the tour this week, also thrilled fans with another edition of Surprise Songs, where she picks songs to sing acoustically.
