Rumer Willis gives health update on dad Bruce amid aphasia and dementia battles
Rumer Willis, the eldest daughter of Bruce Willis, has shared a heartfelt update on her father’s health struggles with aphasia and dementia. In a recent interview, Rumer opened up about the challenges her family has faced since Bruce’s diagnosis and offered a glimpse into his current condition.
“It’s been a difficult journey, but we’re all doing our best to support him,” Rumer said. “My dad is still the same person we all know and love, but he’s facing new challenges every day.”
Rumer explained that Bruce’s aphasia diagnosis has affected his communication skills, making it harder for him to express himself. “It’s tough to see him struggle with words and memories, but he’s still got his sense of humor and spark,” she added.
Despite the struggles, Rumer emphasized that Bruce remains a source of inspiration for their family. “He’s teaching us all to appreciate the little things and to cherish every moment we have together,” she said.
Rumer also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from fans and well-wishers. “It means the world to us, and we feel so blessed to have such an amazing community behind us,” she said.
As Bruce continues his health journey, Rumer and their family remain committed to supporting him every step of the way. “We’re all in this together, and we’ll keep fighting for him and with him,” she concluded.
