Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reunited for the first time since their divorce at the Beverly Hills Hotel yesterday, and sources close to the pair say the atmosphere was decidedly tense.
The former couple, who announced their split last month, met at the luxurious hotel to discuss co-parenting their children. However, their conversation quickly turned heated, with eyewitnesses describing raised voices and stern expressions.
“Ben and Jen were clearly uncomfortable around each other,” said one onlooker. “They were discussing something in hushed tones, but it was obvious they were disagreeing.”
Despite the tension, the exes managed to maintain a united front for the sake of their children, who were present during the meeting.
“Ben and Jen put on a brave face for the kids,” added the source. “But it was clear the spark was gone.”
