Chiefs Remain Unbeaten After Thrilling 22-17 Win Over Falcons

The Kansas City Chiefs are still undefeated after a nail-biting 22-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday Night Football ¹. This marks the third consecutive year that the Chiefs have started their season 3-0.

Led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs were able to hold off the Falcons, who were led by quarterback Kirk Cousins ¹. The Falcons gave the Chiefs a run for their money, but in the end, the Chiefs’ defense was able to hold strong.

The Chiefs’ win wasn’t easy, though. Last weekend, they had a close game against the Bengals, which ended with a game-winning field goal ¹. This week’s game was similar, with the Chiefs having to fight to maintain their lead throughout the game.

Despite the challenges, Mahomes still performed well, going 18-for-25 passing for 151 yards and two touchdowns, along with two interceptions ¹. The Chiefs’ defense was also able to hold the Falcons to just 17 points, which was enough to secure their win.

The Chiefs are now 3-0 for the season, and they’re looking strong. They’ll face their next challenge when they take on the Ravens in Week 4 ¹.
