Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti Flee LA Wildfires on Private Jet After $14 Million Mansion Destroyed

Leonardo DiCaprio, widely known for his environmental activism, is facing criticism after reportedly fleeing the devastating Los Angeles wildfires on a private jet. The flames, fueled by the Pacific wildfire, completely destroyed his $14 million mansion, which he recently shared with model Vittoria Ceretti.

DiCaprio, often hailed as a “climate warrior” for his efforts to combat climate change, has been vocal about the need to reduce carbon emissions. However, his decision to use a private jet to escape the wildfires has drawn backlash, with critics accusing him of hypocrisy. The move has reignited debates around celebrity activism and accountability, with some questioning the gap between advocacy and action.

Social media users were quick to criticize DiCaprio, with many pointing out the contradiction between his climate advocacy and private jet usage. “How can you preach about saving the planet while flying on a private jet to escape a wildfire?” one user commented.

Others defended the actor, arguing that in times of crisis, survival often takes precedence over ideology. “Nobody should expect someone to wait around in a life-threatening situation just to avoid public criticism,” a supporter wrote.

This isn’t the first time DiCaprio has faced scrutiny for his use of private jets. In the past, the actor attended climate summits while reportedly traveling via private aircraft, raising similar concerns. However, his foundation, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation,
