“Simone Biles Addresses Packers Jacket Backlash, Tells Chicago Bears Fans Not to ‘Worry’

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles recently found herself in the midst of a social media frenzy after posting a photo of herself wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket. The image sparked a heated reaction from Chicago Bears fans, who took to Twitter to express their disapproval.

But Biles isn’t letting the criticism get to her. In a recent interview, she addressed the backlash and had a message for the Bears fans who were upset by her fashion choice.

“Hey, Bears fans, don’t worry about it!” Biles said with a laugh. “I’m just a fan of football, and I love showing my support for different teams. It’s all in good fun!”

Biles explained that she received the Packers jacket as a gift from a friend and thought it was a cool addition to her wardrobe. She didn’t realize it would cause such a stir among Bears fans.

“I didn’t mean to offend anyone,” Biles said. “I’m just a gymnast who loves football. I don’t have any allegiance to any particular team.”

Despite the backlash, Biles said she’s not going to stop showing her support for her favorite teams. “I’m going to keep wearing my Packers jacket, and my Bears hat, and my Patriots jersey,” she said with a grin. “Because at the end of the day, it’s all just football!”

Biles’ response earned her praise from fans and fellow athletes alike. “Good for Simone!” tweeted one fan. “She’s just trying to have fun and enjoy the game. Who cares what jacket she wears?”

Indeed, Biles’ message of sportsmanship and goodwill resonated with many. As she said, “It’s all just football!” – and we can all get behind that.”
