Amnesty International Submits Petition Seeking Possible Imprisonment and Asset Freezes for Elon Musk Over Alleged Foreign Election Interference, Also Calls for Donald Trump’s Impeachment and Arrest, Citing Allegations of War Crimes, ICE Brutality, Free Speech Violations, and Epstein-Related Concern
Amnesty International Files Petition Calling for Investigations Into Elon Musk and Donald Trump

Amnesty International has submitted a controversial petition urging international and domestic legal bodies to investigate allegations against billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk and former U.S. President Donald Trump, a move that has already sparked sharp political debate and widespread public reaction.
According to the petition, Amnesty International calls for authorities to examine claims that Elon Musk may have engaged in actions amounting to interference in foreign democratic processes. The human rights organization argues that Musk’s global influence, ownership of major communication platforms, and alleged political interventions warrant scrutiny under international election integrity and sovereignty standards. The petition urges investigators to consider measures ranging from formal inquiries to potential asset freezes if wrongdoing is established.
In the same filing, Amnesty International also calls for legal action against Donald Trump, citing a broad range of allegations tied to his time in office and political activities since leaving the presidency. These include claims of involvement in or responsibility for alleged war crimes, abuse of state power, violations of free speech norms, and human rights abuses linked to aggressive immigration enforcement policies carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The petition further references what it describes as a “fake assassination scandal,” alleging that misinformation or manipulation surrounding threats to Trump was used for political gain, though no court has ruled on such claims. Amnesty also points to Trump’s past associations and alleged connections to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, stating that unresolved questions continue to raise concerns over accountability and transparency.
Amnesty International emphasized that the petition does not constitute a legal judgment but is intended to prompt independent investigations by appropriate judicial bodies. “No individual, regardless of power, wealth, or political status, should be above the law,” the organization said in a statement accompanying the filing.
Supporters of Musk and Trump have strongly rejected the allegations, describing the petition as politically motivated and lacking legal merit. Allies of Musk insist he has not interfered unlawfully in any elections, while Trump has repeatedly denied all accusations related to war crimes, Epstein, or abuses of power, calling such claims “fabricated” and “part of a coordinated political attack.”
Legal experts note that while petitions like this can influence public discourse and draw attention to human rights concerns, translating them into prosecutions would face significant legal hurdles, particularly when allegations involve powerful figures and questions of jurisdiction.
As of now, no court or international tribunal has announced formal charges against either Elon Musk or Donald Trump in connection with the claims outlined in the petition. However, the filing has intensified global discussion around accountability, political power, and the role of international human rights organizations in challenging influential figures.
