Kotb, known for her warmth, intelligence, and genuine rapport with both guests and viewers, joined NBC News in 1998 as a correspondent for “Dateline NBC.” Her impactful storytelling and engaging personality quickly established her as a respected journalist, propelling her career forward and leading to her position at ‘Today’.
During her time at ‘Today’, Kotb has worn many hats, transitioning from co-hosting the fourth hour, alongside Kathie Lee Gifford and later Jenna Bush Hager, to becoming a staple on the main desk.
