Jason Kelce Reveals Travis Kelce Had to Move Due to Attention Over Taylor Swift Romance
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance is in good standing, but that doesn’t mean their relationship hasn’t had its difficult spots.
On on Thursday’s episode of The Big Podcast With Shaq, Jason Kelce revealed that his brother’s purchase of a $6 million private mansion back in October was the direct result of attention he had been getting from people due to his connection with Swift.
“He had to completely move out of his house,” Jason Kelce told Shaquille O’Neal, via SI. “People were just staying by his house. The first day he moved into the new house … a gated community, someone knocks on a window of the house.”
“We’ve always been big in the football world, Travis especially,” Kelce continued. “The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level. It’s a new demographic that wasn’t there before.”
Leading up to the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs star reportedly rented a $1 million villa in Henderson, Nevada, a short drive away from Allegiant Stadium, where Super Bowl LVIII was played.
Presumably, Kelce used the mansion for some extra privacy during Super Bowl week, though he and Swift hit the town and partied all night at XS following the Chiefs’ 25-22 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
