Jennifer Lopez reportedly ‘relieved’ after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck: ‘It’s been almost torture’

Jennifer Lopez has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Ben Affleck, and sources close to the singer say she’s feeling “relieved” and “liberated” after the split.

“Jen has been through a lot in the past few years, and her marriage to Ben has been a significant source of stress for her,” an insider revealed. “She’s tried her best to make it work, but ultimately, she realized it was time to prioritize her own happiness and well-being.”

According to sources, the couple’s differences became increasingly apparent over the past year, leading to a growing sense of tension and disconnection. “It’s been almost torture for Jen, watching their relationship deteriorate like this,” the insider said. “She’s finally found the courage to take control of her life and move on.”

Lopez and Affleck’s marriage has been marked by public displays of affection and high-profile appearances together, but behind closed doors, things have been less rosy. “They’ve been living separate lives for a while now,” the source confirmed. “Jen’s been focusing on her music and upcoming projects, while Ben’s been preoccupied with his own endeavors. It’s like they were just going through the motions.”

With the divorce proceedings underway, Lopez is said to be embracing this new chapter in her life. “She’s excited to start fresh and explore what’s next for her,” the insider shared. “Jen’s a strong, resilient woman, and she’ll come out of this even more radiant and successful than before.”

As for Affleck, sources suggest he’s also moving forward, though the split has been difficult for him. “Ben loves Jen deeply, but he understands her need for freedom and growth,” the insider said. “
