Nicole Kidman has departed the Venice Film Festival early after receiving devastating news that her mother, Janelle Kidman, has passed away.

 

 

The actress was attending the festival to promote her latest film, “The Eternal Daughter,” when she received the sad news. She immediately left Venice to be with her family.

 

“The family is heartbroken,” a source close to the family revealed. “Nicole is absolutely devastated. She was incredibly close to her mother.”

Janelle Kidman was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
