Oasis fans are going wild over a ‘massive announcement’ that was set to be revealed on Monday – however, some people think they’ve already worked it out and are disappointed with the ‘let down’.
Speaking on air on Friday, Radio X DJ Dan O’Connell teased: ‘I got a message from very important people at Radio X.
‘They told me to make sure I mention that on Monday morning Chris Moyles has something big for Oasis fans. If that is you there is something massive happening.’
The cryptic message has quickly circulated on social media and fans all over the world have been guessing what it could be – with some hoping for a new album or single.
Speculating on X, fans of Liam and Noel Gallagher wrote: ‘Breaking News. Oasis are set to release some big news next Monday. Rumor has it that it could be the announcement of a new album.’
‘Oasis announcement on radio x is not a ticket giveaway it’s a featuring with kneecap TRUST.’
‘Oasis announcement Do we know any more yet? I’m going to guess that they will formally announce loads of tickets going back to sale after being taken of the resellers.’
‘Liam hasn’t done a morning post all week. He’s not allowed to talk much in case he spills the beans before Monday’s announcement.’
‘What announcement!? Tickets??’

However, Radio X took to social media on Sunday evening to share the news of a ticket giveaway – and fans think this could be the announcement.
The X account for the radio station wrote: ‘BIBLICAL. We’re giving one lucky winner the chance to win a pair of Oasis tickets for Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 30th July.
‘Tune into The @ChrisMoyles Show tomorrow morning from 6:30am to find out how you could be in with the chance of winning.’
Realising the ‘massive news’ could just be that two tickets are being handed out, fans have dubbed it the ‘worst announcement’.
