Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are the new lucky charm for the Dallas Mavericks
It’s no secret anymore that Patrick Mahomes is a staunch supporter of the Dallas Mavericks. Growing up in Tyler, Texas, the Mavericks were the closest NBA team that Patrick and Brittany had to root for.
With the Mavs on a strong run in this year’s NBA Playoffs, the Mahomes family had to show up and show out for the team as they hosted the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday.
The Mavericks ended up winning and now have a 2-1 series lead. We’re likely to see the Mahomes’ make it to Game 4; simply for good luck.
While the Mavs are Mahomes’ team, Patrick couldn’t help but be taken aback by Oklahoma City’s Luguentz Dort. At one point during the game, Mahomes turned to the broadcast crew and said Dort could play linebacker in the NFL.
