Patrick Mahomes Fans Furious as Chiefs Takes Robert Griffin III Advice to Sign Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham maintained impressive stats last season.

The Kansas City Chiefs clinched their second consecutive Super Bowl victory this season, a remarkable feat overshadowed by their struggles. Drops on the field posed significant challenges throughout the season, prompting speculation about potential offseason moves to address this issue.

Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III (RG3) recently ignited conversation with a proposal involving Odell Beckham Jr.
Grounded in Beckham’s dynamic performance during the 2023 season, RG3 highlighted the wide receiver’s playmaking abilities as a potential solution to the Chiefs’ receiving woes.

Despite facing adversity, Beckham maintained impressive stats, boasting an average of 16.1 yards per catch and a remarkably low drop rate of just 1 drop on 64 targets.

“The @chiefs SHOULD SIGN Odell Beckham Jr. Last year he proved he is STILL DYNAMIC after being 8th in the NFL averaging 16.1 yards per catch,” Griffin III wrote on social media.

“The @Chiefs struggled with drops last year, but @obj had the lowest drop rate of his career with 1 drop on 64 targets (1.6%). Chief him.”
Fans do not agree.
However, skepticism loomed among Chiefs fans regarding the feasibility of acquiring OBJ, with many expressing doubts and dismissing the idea outright.

One prominent concern raised by fans centered on Beckham’s hefty price tag, with the 31-year-old currently under a $15 million 1-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens, including significant guaranteed money.
