On Saturday, President Joe Biden presided over a star-studded ceremony at the White House to honor the latest recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award. The honorees included luminaries from various fields, such as U2 frontman Bono, celebrity chef and humanitarian José Andrés, actor and activist Michael J. Fox, iconic performer Denzel Washington, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, among others.
