Prince Harry ‘cheerful’ on return flight after seeing King Charles amid cancer news
King Charles continues his stay at Sandringham, as he receives ongoing cancer treatment, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle launched a new website this evening – with one noticeable difference from their old one.
Prince Harry was reportedly ‘cheerful’ on his return to the US following a visit to his dad king Charles last week. The Duke, 39, flew to the UK last week where he is said to have spent around 24 hours – with an overnight stay at a hotel. It has been reported King Charles, 75, personally told Harry and William about his diagnosis before Buckingham Palace made the public announcement.
At the time, Harry was in Montecito, California, where he lives with wife Meghan and their two children. After jetting to the UK for a flying visit to see the King, Harry returned the following day – with sources saying he was “cheerful” onboard after paying a visit to his dad. The source said Harry engaged in conversation with staff and others onboard before landing back at LAX.
It comes after news Harry and Meghan Markle have quietly unveiled a major overhaul to the couple’s brand, as King Charles continues his stay at Sandringham. The Duke and Duchess, without fanfare, launched their new website Sussex.com, dropping the ‘royal’ from the previous URL – after a dispute whether they could use the word, after leaving the royal family. It comes as they’re due to fly to Canada in a few days time to take part in an event linked to Prince Harry’s Invictus Games.
Meanwhile, King Charles is hunkering down as he prepares for a long stay amid his ongoing cancer treatment. The monarch is settling down for a prolonged stay on his sprawling 20,000 acre Sandringham Estate, in Norfolk as he continues his cancer treatment. He is said to be hunkering down at Wood Farm, in Sandringham, where he’s hoping to find a calming environment for his cancer recovery.
