Prince Harry’s Royal Conundrum: Embattled Prince Harry to Rejoin Royal Family in order to take some duties to help his family but Tension With Prince Williams Looms

Earlier this week, the royal rumor mill was spinning with the possibility that Prince Harry would be making his way back into the Firm and take on more royal duties—but that speculation was quickly debunked.

However, even with those stories being shut down, The Mirror reports that Harry knows exactly what those stories are doing to his brother, Prince William.

Harry’s friends shared that he is aware of his brother’s feelings on the idea of him coming back to his previous position as a working royal.

Even though The Mirror reported that William suggested there was “zero chance” it would happen after the publication of Spare, the rumors still manage to get under his skin. The newspaper added that William and Harry have been out of contact for months and even though they were at their uncle’s funeral together recently, they didn’t interact.
Sources add that Harry is focused on “making a success of his life” in the United States alongside his wife, Meghan Markle. Together, they’ve produced several Netflix series and Markle launched a podcast. She’s also set to launch a new brand this year, American Riviera Orchard.
The Mirror adds that a return to royal life is “far from his mind” and that Harry was reaching out to old friends and former aids—which is what sparked the rumors in the first place—”purely for strategic and friendly advice.” Insiders also noted that Harry could be open to taking up a temporary role within the family to “help out” if his father asked, which could be an indication that Harry is open to reconciling with at least part of his family.
