Princess Eugenie supports Prince Harry as Royal Family feud continues
Princess Eugenie will support Prince Harry as his feud with the Royal Family continues, according to a royal source.
The Princess of York and the Duke of Sussex, who are cousins, are known to have a close bond. Eugenie was the first member of the Royal Family that Prince Harry introduced to Meghan Markle. Harry’s relationship with senior members of the monarchy has become strained since he stepped down as a working royal in 2020.
The Duke of Sussex is not currently on speaking terms with his brother Prince William. However, he remains close with Princess Eugenie according to a royal insider. The source claimed that Princess Eugenie will help Prince Harry mend his strained relationship with senior royals. They told the Independent: “She [Eugenie] and Harry are still very close, so there’s no doubt she’ll be there for him over the coming months and if she can help at all with relations between him and the family, of course she will.”
Last month, Prince Harry said during a TV interview with Good Morning America at the start of February that he had many visits planned to the UK for 2024. He flew to London last month to see King Charles after it was confirmed that the monarch has a form of cancer. Harry did not see Prince William during his recent return to the UK. Princess Eugenie splits her time between the UK and Portugal, where she lives with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their two young sons.
