Rey Mysterio has had one of the most illustrious careers in the history of WWE and embarked on his journey when he was only 14 years old back in 1989.
Since then he has made a name for himself as one of the most legendary wrestlers, hailing from Mexico.
Having a career spanning decades, the question that has been coming up frequently is one about whether he is looking at retirement anytime soon. The wrestler is soon going to celebrate his 50th birthday this December, and fans are wondering how much longer he can stay in the ring.
On the other hand, Rey Mysterio is confident that he still has a few years of peak performances ahead of him. He believes that he has more to offer to the game for a minimum of the next two to three years. According to sources, back in December 2023, Mysterio signed a deal with WWE that is believed to be for three years. He believes that his body and mind will signal him when it is time for retirement.
