Olympic gymnastics superstar Simone Biles and her family are reeling after their apartment was broken into, leaving them shaken and heartbroken. Fortunately, the thieves did not make off with her prized Olympic medals, which were safely secured elsewhere.
The break-in occurred on a quiet evening when the family was away. The intruders ransacked their home, leaving a trail of destruction and chaos in their wake. Simone’s parents, Nellie and Ron Biles, were devastated to discover the state of their apartment upon returning home.
“We’re just grateful that no one was hurt,” said Nellie Biles, fighting back tears. “But the thought of someone invading our personal space and rummaging through our belongings is just devastating.”
Simone, who has been open about her struggles with anxiety and mental health, was particularly upset by the incident. “It’s like they violated our sanctuary,” she said. “I keep thinking about what could have happened if we were home.”
