Exclusive: Taylor Swift manages to bring Jurgen Klopp back to Anfield
Taylor Swift and Jurgen Klopp will both be at Anfield in June. Jurgen Klopp was all over the news on Sunday after he celebrated his last win of Liverpool FC over the Wolves 2-0 under his tenure as general manager. It now seems that he’ll be returning to Anfield with his wife Ulla to attend the Liverpool leg of Taylor Swift’s worldwide “Eras Tour”.
Klopp is ready to live his post-Reds life after having an impressive tenure with the legendary team, with which he managed to attain 9 championships in different leagues and competitions, including one Premier League title, one Champions League crown, an FA Cup, two EFL Cups, the Community Shield, a UEFA Super Cup, and a FIFA Club World Cup.
Jurgen Klopp is a Swiftie
As expected, Klopp gave lengthy interviews with different media outlets including The Athletic, and when asked what kind of music he likes when he has a moment to himself away from the team, he answered that he’s broken into songs covering “Shake it Off” in front of the Anfield crowd and later said that his wife Ulla purchased tickets for them to watch Swift’s Eras Tour.
The Eras Tour is set to be in the UK in June and will head to Edinburgh prior to the Liverpool leg of the tour where she will perform on June 13th, 14th and 15th, then she heads to Cardiff and then will have three more dates in London.
After England, Taylor Swift will head to Dublin to perform 3 more shows, then she will travel to Amsterdam and continue touring to finish the last leg of the Eras Tour in Vancouver where she will put an end to the 21-month endeavor.
Klopp led the team to his 491th game as the man in charge of the club
When Klopp broke the news, he used the kindest words to try and make people understand that his time had run out and was leaving by a personal decision “I love absolutely everything about this club, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our supporters, I love the team, I love the staff. I love everything. But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take. It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy.”
