Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s Allure As A Celebrity Couple Helped Raise A Lot Of Money For Charity
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are two extremely famous people on their own, but together, they make up perhaps the hottest celebrity couple in the world today. The masses just can’t get enough of the two of them together. That power and allure are useful to both of them when it comes to promoting their various projects, but it’s also now helping those less fortunate.
The two both signed a Kansas City jersey, which bears Kelce’s name and number, 87. The item quickly went up for auction, and unsurprisingly, went for a hefty price.
The signed jersey–which may be one of the only of its kind in the world–sold for more than $15,000 at a recent auction, according to the Daily Mail. The shirt received twenty-five bids throughout the auction, eventually going to someone willing to pay thousands of dollars for a very special offering—one which may be a collector’s favorite one day.
That $15,000-plus dollars will reportedly go towards the The Guelph Wish Fund, a nonprofit based in Ontario, Canada. According to the organization’s website, its mission states that the group “provides ‘wishes’ and support to children under the age of 19, residing in Guelph or Wellington County, who are living with a significant illness, life-altering injury or a rare and debilitating syndrome.”
The jersey came in a frame, according to images posted by the Daily Mail. The item also included photos of Swift and Kelce celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs’ recent Super Bowl win earlier this month.
Swift and Kelce have been romantically linked since mid-2023, and they quickly decided not to hide their budding love. They have been spotted on dates, holding hands, kissing, and the singer joined the football player on the field after his team won the Super Bowl–again. In the months since they confirmed that they were a pair, the media has been incredibly interested in their romance, covering every aspect of the couple.
The pop and country singer was recently generous in her own way. After the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, the city hosted a victory parade, as is usually the case for the champions. At the event, a fight erupted, and a woman was shot and killed in the turmoil. Swift donated $100,000 to the family of the victim.
