Taylor Swift embraces Versace–and La Dolce Vita on a Lake Como getaway with Travis Kelce
You might have assumed that, post-Hiddleswift-precipitated PR debacle, Tree Paine would have banned Taylor Swift from ever setting foot on Italian soil again.
(I don’t care what @thanKyouaIMee13 says: those shots of “T-Swizzle” reenacting The Lizzie McGuire Movie are just as much to blame for #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty as Kimye).
Apparently, though, time heals all hashtag-inflicted wounds, because Swift is back in bel paese: specifically, during a break from The Eras Tour this week, America’s tortured poet laureate decamped to Lake Como with a certain tight end in tow, checking into the 16th-century Villa Sola Cabiati on the grounds of Grand Hotel Tremezzo.
Happily for the Traylor/Swelce/Tayvis shippers out there, all of the long-lens pap shots that have emerged from the trip so far look like stills from a fan-generated music video for Dean Martin’s “That’s Amore.”
For the latter outing, Swift veered into Versace territory, accessorizing her Alaïa minidress with the Italian house’s Gianni Ribbon Flats and Medusa ’95 Tote. Thrown over the top of her look: an Inspector Gadget meets Carmen Sandiego trench.
