The Chiefs are on fire again as Andy Reid and Andy Reid worries

Just three months ago, the Kansas City Chiefs were celebrating their second consecutive championship and were already talking about a three-peat.

Today, however, they find themselves in the middle of a crisis stemming from the multiple off-field problems of some of their top players, starting with Rashee Rice.

It’s not hard to deduce that head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes should be worried. Not only because Rice’s problems seem to worsen every week, but also because this could force them to part with the receiver, who was their first college pick in 2023.

The team has not commented on the case of the offensive linemen, both in their second year with the team.

Analysts expect Rice to be suspended, and although the length of his suspension is uncertain, they speculate it could be more than half the season. Regardless of the NFL’s decision, the Chiefs will have to perform a cost/benefit analysis in Rice’s case.
