Tom Cruise Joins Travis and Jason Kelce on ‘New Heights’ After Chiefs Opener Appearance With Taylor Swift
Tom Cruise is set to join Travis and Jason Kelce on New Heights after his high-profile appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener, where he was seated alongside Taylor Swift.
Cruise attended the Chiefs’ September 14 game against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium. Television cameras showed the actor sitting with Swift in a suite as she watched her husband, Travis Kelce, begin the 2026 NFL season. The Chiefs went on to defeat Denver 31–10.
The appearance was Swift’s first at a Chiefs game since she and Kelce married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden. Cruise was also among the guests at the wedding, making his presence at the season opener another connection between the Hollywood star and the Kelce family.
Two days after the game, Travis and Jason Kelce addressed Cruise on the September 16 episode of New Heights. The episode included an announcement that a special conversation with Cruise would be released later in the week. The official podcast listing described the announcement as involving Cruise and his upcoming appearance on the show. (iHeart)
The brothers have previously welcomed prominent figures from sports and entertainment onto New Heights, and the Cruise interview adds another major celebrity guest to the podcast’s growing list. The show, hosted by the Kelce brothers, regularly combines NFL discussion with conversations about entertainment and popular culture. (
Cruise’s Kansas City visit also extended beyond football. According to local reporting, he visited the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum on Tuesday, September 15, during his stay in the city. )
For Cruise, the New Heights appearance comes as he prepares for the release of his upcoming film Digger. For the Kelce brothers, meanwhile, the conversation gives them an opportunity to discuss their connection with one of Hollywood’s most recognizable actors following his appearance at Arrowhead Stadium.
The timing has made the episode particularly notable: Cruise went from watching Travis Kelce play alongside Swift at the Chiefs opener to becoming the subject of a major announcement on the Kelce brothers’ podcast just days later.
