Patrick Mahomes, recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL suffered in Sunday’s clash against the Los Angeles Chargers, received a high-profile surprise visit from his “brother” Travis Kelce and pop superstar Taylor Swift.

The visit provided a much-needed spark of joy during one of the darkest weeks in recent Chiefs history.

A Season Cut Short

The injury occurred in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chargers. Scrambling to his right to extend a play, Mahomes took an awkward hit while planting his leg. The stadium went dead silent as the two-time MVP was carted off the field.

MRI results confirmed the team’s worst fears: a complete tear of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). Mahomes underwent successful surgery yesterday morning, officially ending his 2025 campaign.

The Visit
