Taylor Swift “Doesn’t Want to Move” Into Travis Kelce’s Lavish New $5.35 Million Ohio Mansion even after his Retirement from Football, Fueling Fresh Questions Over Where the Couple Will Settle After His NFL Career
Taylor Swift Reportedly Doesn’t Want to Move Into Travis Kelce’s New $5.35 Million Ohio Mansion
Fresh speculation surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s future home has emerged following the NFL star’s purchase of a stunning $5.35 million lakefront mansion in Ohio.

According to reports and growing online speculation, Swift may not be interested in making Kelce’s newly purchased Bratenahl property their primary or permanent residence—even after the Kansas City Chiefs star eventually retires from the NFL.
Kelce purchased the expansive Ohio estate for approximately $5.35 million. The historic property, known as Moyenage, sits on several acres overlooking Lake Erie and features multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, a swimming pool, entertainment spaces, a home theater, a fitness area and a separate guest cottage.
The purchase has naturally fueled questions about whether the mansion could eventually become a permanent home for Kelce and Swift.
However, there is currently no confirmation from Swift or Kelce that the singer has rejected the property. The claim appears to stem largely from speculation surrounding the couple’s future living arrangements and reports suggesting that Swift may not want to relocate permanently to the Midwest.
Some entertainment reports have suggested that Swift prefers to maintain flexibility because of her career, while Kelce’s long-term connection to Ohio has made the area particularly meaningful to him. The NFL star grew up in the Cleveland area, making the new property something of a return to his roots.
The timing of the purchase has also added to the intrigue. With Kelce eventually expected to retire from professional football, fans have been wondering whether the Ohio estate could become the couple’s long-term base or simply serve as a private retreat away from their other residences.
For now, however, neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly announced where they intend to live permanently following Kelce’s NFL career.
The speculation has nevertheless sent fans into a frenzy, with social-media discussions increasingly questioning whether the couple could ultimately split their time between Ohio and other properties rather than make the lakefront mansion their full-time home.
Until either Swift or Kelce addresses the matter directly, the claim that Taylor “doesn’t want to move” into the Ohio mansion remains an unconfirmed rumor—not an established decision by the couple.
