Congress Set to Subpoena Donald Trump and Melania Trump Over Epstein Allegations After Iranian Hackers Claim to Release Images
Lawmakers in the United States are reportedly preparing to subpoena former President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trumo to testify about their past connections to disgraced financier Jeffery Epstein following a controversial online leak claimed by Iranian hackers.

The alleged leak, which surfaced on several social media and file-sharing platforms late Thursday night, reportedly includes dozens of images that hackers claim show Trump and Epstein together during past social gatherings. The hackers say the images were released as retaliation for the ongoing military conflict involving the United States and Israel against Iran.
U.S. officials have not yet confirmed the authenticity of the images circulating online. Cybersecurity analysts and government agencies are currently examining the material to determine whether it has been manipulated, fabricated, or taken out of context.
The controversy has quickly drawn the attention of congressional investigators. Sources on Capitol Hill say members of a congressional oversight panel are discussing issuing subpoenas to both Trump and Melania Trump in order to answer questions regarding any past association with Epstein.
Epstein, who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges, maintained connections with numerous powerful figures across politics, finance, and entertainment. Over the years, Trump has acknowledged knowing Epstein socially in the past but has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing or involvement in Epstein’s criminal activities.
The alleged cyber leak comes at a particularly tense moment as geopolitical tensions continue to escalate in the Middle East. U.S. intelligence officials believe foreign hacking groups linked to Iran may be attempting to influence public opinion in the United States through cyber operations and information campaigns.
Several lawmakers have urged caution, warning that unverified material released during geopolitical conflicts could be part of a broader disinformation effort. Others, however, say the claims must be fully investigated to ensure transparency and accountability.
Trump’s representatives have not yet issued a detailed response to the latest claims but have previously dismissed similar allegations as politically motivated attacks.
As investigators examine the origins and authenticity of the leaked material, the situation is expected to intensify political debate in Washington, where questions about Epstein’s connections to powerful figures continue to resurface years after his death.
